As Inventure IV closes above our €150m target, we want to give a big thanks to all our limited partners including those who have backed us for fourth time, as well as our new international LPs who have joined us for the first time.

We’d like to think that our strong team and platform has something to do with it. But in reality, we know what’s really motivating our LPs is the strength of Nordic and Baltic founders, who really are unparalleled in their ability to drive great returns. The flywheel in our region is spinning faster than ever, and what gets us out of bed every morning is knowing that companies that will make Wolt’s massive exit look small are being founded today.

Checking in on Inventure IV

Our second close was seven months ago, but within that time it’s become clear we’re in a new market environment. That hasn’t slowed us down. To date we’ve already backed three companies at Series A, five at Seed, and seven at Pre-Seed. Our strategy is to deploy tickets between €500,000 and €5 million, with our sweet spot leading Seed rounds in the €1–3 million ticket range.

Inventure is a generalist fund, and we’ve covered many bases with our deployments so far. We’ve touched on the future of work, with Jobbatical. New tech tools, including Toddle and Steep. New split payments with Anyday. The future of learning, with Bunch.ai and Melon. NFT music ownership with anotherblock. Statelite monitoring of infrastructure with Value.space. Mobile bike repair with Yeply.

One theme you can already clearly see is our deep conviction in healthtech, including our recent funding announcement in the quantum-powered drug discovery platform, Algorithmiq; Liquid biopsy cancer screening provider HederaDx; and the virtual acute ward, Medoma.
